Freedom Gallery Opens July 4 at Aviation Heritage Park & Museum

Aviation Heritage Park & Museum invites the public to the opening of the new Freedom Gallery, a permanent exhibit honoring three distinguished military aviators whose courage, leadership, and service helped shape American military history.

Located within the museum’s Hall of Heroes, the Freedom Gallery tells the stories of:

Lt. Col. Gerald Roark, USAF
KC-135 & EC-135 Command Pilot • Founding CENTCOM Airborne Operations Leader

U.S. Army Ranger • Apache Pilot • Opening Strike Missions of Operation Desert Storm

Through photographs, artifacts, personal memorabilia, and historical interpretation, visitors will discover the remarkable journeys of these Kentucky-connected aviators and the vital roles they played during some of America’s most significant military operations.

The Freedom Gallery joins Aviation Heritage Park & Museum’s growing Hall of Heroes, where the stories of extraordinary servicemen and women are preserved for future generations.

Admission to the museum and exhibit is free. Families, veterans, history enthusiasts, and visitors of all ages are welcome.
