Maj Todd Moore is known as the Ace of the 7th Air Force. During WW2 his squadron flew P-51 Mustangs out of Iwo Jima. While attacking enemy-held islands and escorting bombers to Tokyo, he became a “Double Ace.”
LTC Capito was the Commanding Officer of the Marine Corps Harrier Training Squadron, VMAT-203, as well as being the first person to eject from the newest version of the Harrier, the AV8-B, following a catastrophic engine failure.
Lt Col (ret) Bobbie Pedigo started his military career as a KyNG private in 1951. He served two tours in Vietnam and became an instructor pilot accumulating 2000 hours of flight time- 1200 on fixed wing and 800 on rotary. Aviation Heritage Park salutes this Warren County Kentucky native.
